Man that is sooo hard to see where you are going to need a check when its at that resolution and its taken in the M map.
All mappers will use a good comparison map and mostly all zoom in and out at will, they will also not use the M map due to the wandering clouds buzzing about which when your trying to check a map will only add to confusion. I put the shot i took of your map in gandarra zoomed in as if I was checking it and it came out like this

so you can see...at the resolution your using its practically impossible to determine outright where your fogging is at your stage of mapping i.e less than 3% to go

This is a direct one from a U map screenshot i took for this post and you get a huge difference in resolution and can see where your possible fogging is

To get any real idea, now that your at your final stages you will need to take full screen U map screenshots for map checkers

(and yes i do have a bit of experience I have legendary cartographer title on two characters)

Heh. /disagree. It's a valid technique, but not all people do it like that.

I'm a big fan of using Photoshop/PSP and doing a difference map on the two zoomed out sections. Just as easy as the Umaps, without all the fuss of stitching sections together.

Clouds are also negated by taking the screenshots at a constant time after opening the main map. Ie, press m, instantly take the shift+printscreen screenshot. The cloud pattern loops and resets each time you re-open the map.

Livingstone's thread covers this in detail (and provides maps) so I won't discuss further. GL in getting your titles!

ok not all mappers .... a lot....

I dont stitch the image at all...I just worked on a particular region using fireworks to layer it and compare. I tried using the M map a lot but it didnt work out well when you're down to the last few percent. And i hardly used the system like to compare until i was in the high 90's anyhow.

I do map check for my guild personally, but i have a hard time telling people how I like the maps done. I even thought about offering a map checking service, but I do like to play the game more than stare at maps
